At #1 Singles Martine Fierro took 4 Star Alyssa DiMaio (UTR 9 )to 3 sets in the FCIAC Semi Final, ultimately losing a closely fought match 6-4, 2-6, 4-6. "Alyssa played a phenomenal player at no. 1 and she gutted out a hard 3 set victory over Martine Fierro" Staples Coach Fabian told "The Hour" newspaper.
