2016 All-County Tennis Team
Gabe Liss (So.), Birmingham Groves - Slid into the No. 1 spot for Groves this fall and performed brilliantly. Liss finished the season 27-9 overall, capturing a regional championship and earning a No. 5 seed at the state tournament, where he was a quarterfinalist. He won the Holland Christian tournament and finished runner-up at both the Midland Dow and Okemos quads. He was a first team all-state selection in Division 2. “Gabe is one of the more mentally tough players around,†said his coach, Dave Farmer. “He has a great head for tennis, and is an exceptional athlete.â€ÂÂÂÂÂ
