"Stephen Muir Junior Sportsmanship Award 2016" - Awarded to Will at his at the Middleburg Tennis Club, "Sportsmanship refers to virtues such as fairness, self control, courage, persistence and demonstrating respect for teammates, opponents and authority while competing". This year's award recipient is Will Driskill, the junior who best exemplifies Stephen's attributes.
I just started playing competitive tournaments on a regular basis two years ago. I played other sports growing up and decided to focus on tennis at that time. please see note below

As per our phone conversation, I am excited to see that Will has moved up almost 200 spots in the TRN rankings in the past year -- to his highest ranking ever. On TRN this is a fantastic move and he should be commended.
We only award the stars twice per year -- once at the beginning of the academic year and again in March. Will must have just missed being awarded a 2-star rating last September because he is in 2-star territory now. Please see this article that has the cutoffs listed:

As a former DIII coach at Georgia Tech years ago, I would be excited to have Will interested in playing for me.
