The Woodlands High School, over 4000 students, was ranked as the top athletic program in the country by ESPN. The Highlanders had top 10 finishes in boys' track and boys' cross country. The girls' track and girls' cross country teams were both in the top 25, while the girls' soccer squad ended with a top 40 finish. The Woodlands is the only school in the nation with FAB 50-ranked teams in five different sports.
