TOURNAMENTS
Andrew made the quarterfinals at the FSU ITA, made quarterfinals in Ft. Lauderdale; played Imanol Arconada (#1 in Puerto Rico & #1 in the Hiawaiian Territory, #42 national ranking in the United States} in Ft. Lauderdale in December...lost 6-3/6-4 --all but two games went to duece multiple times... demonstrated he can compete at the world level. Has decided to sign with Western Kentucky University, NCAA Division 1 (sunbelt, going to Conference USA 2014-15)...looking forward to working with a great coach and team at WKU (who both encouraged him), and to training in the new, in progress $3.5M tennis complex. Our thanks to all who helped Andrew achieve his goal, as well as the 63 colleges and universities who expressed their interest in his career and encouraged him along the way; and to his Summit Chase Tennis Academy team mates, his hitting partners, Dave Matthews, Thomas Cook, Stephen Nash, coaches Josh & Tymon Smith, just to name a few. **To any coaches who look at this site, Andrews data has dropped, as he hasn't played USTA Juniors for an extended time... he is training for the summer ITA & his Western Kentucky University fall season. Here are his last numbers: National: 299; Southern:89; State :11, 4 Star; overall win percentile: never below 90% and as high as 98%, the top 2%-10% his entire Junior career. won 29 tournaments, made it to Quarters, Semi's or Finals in 83% of all others, except ITA's at 35%.
