TOURNAMENTS
Daniel Goldblum has been playing tennis since the age of 6. See http://www.goldblumtennis.com. He was inspired by his uncle, Aaron Krickstein. Currently Number 6 in Middle States and 193 Nationally for 16 and under division. Number 13 in Middle States for 18 and under division. His final middle states ranking for 12 and unders was 6 and he had a top 100 ranking nationally. In the 14's he reached number 3 in middle states and a top 120 ranking nationally. He has made the 14 and 16 and under zonal teams. He was a Semi-finalist at the Midwest Nationals in Dayton beating Lewis Butler, a top 10 player, along the way. He won a number of sectional tournaments in the 14 and under age group including a level 4 and several level 5 events. He was the finalist of a level 6 event in April of 2007, before he had aged up where he beat Neal Karandikar along the way. He was also a finalist of a sectional event in May of 2007. He won a level 6 event in Philadelphia in Aug. of 2007 and later in that year he placed 5th and 3rd at back to back level 5 events in Pittsburgh and Scranton Pa. Qualifies for State Championships as a Freshman. Wins Sectional doubles in April of 2008 in Erie. Doubles finalist in sectional in Norristown and at same event finishes 5th in singles. Top 10 finisher Masters Level 3 event in Ashton Pa. Semifinalist in singles Level 5 event and finalist in Doubles in the same event in Phil. Pa. 5th place finish in Master's Level 4 event in 9/08 and finalist in doubles in same event. Champion in SR-5 events in doubles in 9/08 and 10/08. semi-finalist and finalist in those events as well. Wins 2 matches at USTA National open in 11/08 and 3 wins in USTA National open in 2/08. Champion of Level 4 event in doubles of 3/08 and quartefinalist in same event for singles. Level 3 Masters 18 and under top 8 finisher.
HIGH SCHOOL
