HIGH SCHOOL
2006- Member of Upper Arlington High School's varsity tennis team as a freshman and a key member in the squad which finished 3rd in the State Team tournament of Ohio.
2007-Returning varsity letterwinner for the Upper Arlington High School tennis team, which won the Central District of Ohio and finished 4th in the State tournament. Melvin and doubles partner Aldo Corona qualified for the individual state tournament as well.
