HIGH SCHOOL
Currently: Junior year: Very successful tennis season at #1 finishing the season undefeated in 3A division district play including winning the district championship tournament in singles and doubles, securing a spot in singles and doubles at the state tournament. At states, won first two rounds of singles to advance to the semi-finals where I lost to the #1 ranked player in the state of Florida and in the country, Danielle Collins. In doubles, won all three of our doubles matches to win the draw, claiming a Florida Individual Doubles State Championship. Named to the Tampa Tribune First Team-all county (from a very large and competetive county in Florida) as well as First team Western Conference.
Sophomore year: played #2 position behind Jennifer Miller (2009 Stetson University recruit) and played #1 doubles. I won the #2 district championship and only lost one singles match throughout a competitive regular season. Also went undefeated through my doubles season winning our semi-final regional match but losing the final regional match to eventual state champions, Plant High School. Named to first team National Conference.
Freshman year: played #3 position behind sister Jamie Mera (recruited by University of Missouri) and Jennifer Miller. Won my individual district championship, helping my team to win the team district championships. Won the semi-regionals but lost the final regionals to Plant High School that went on to finish runner up at Florida State Championship. Was named to the first team Western Conference.
