Aug 2008: Made it to the final 64 at The Kalamazoo hard court super national. Barely lost last match to #1 TX, Ben Chen.
7/13/08: "Player of the Day" award at Clay Court Super National (press release): win over Devin McCarthy in a 3 1/2 hour match in the Florida heat. Acclimation, conditioning, perseverance, and determination made the difference!
July 2008: Invited & competed in Jr. Davis Cup; won 3 of 4 matches
June, 2008: Won 4th place at National Open. Great win over Matt Spindler
May, 2008: Won 6 matches at Georgia National Open. Big wins over Chris Cha & Tanaka.
HIGH SCHOOL
August 1, 2008: earned #1 varsity singles at Cherry Creek H.S. Was torn by scholarship offer to attend tennis academy in California for one semester. Creek still won the state championship, despite my departure to California.
June, 2008: chosen by Jookt.com to represent the sport of tennis in High School.
