In my sophmore year and second year of Boys 16s singles in the Northern california district of USTA. I reached a top 30 ranking in Norcal and beat 5 players in the top 20 that includes; Ian Clark, Eric Gast, Michael Sperry, Allen Xu, and Eric Johnson. I am moving to the boys 18s now and look to improve in every part of my game!
My Junior year and first year of Boys 18's singles in Northern California District of USTA. I got my ranking as high as 23, in just five months of tournament play! My record was 23-6 and once again beat several players in the top 20: Nick Papac, Jeffrey Mullen, Matthew Micheli, Connor Coates, and Nikhil Jayashankar. I am a multi-sport athlete so I do not play year round tennis, but I do want to earn a scholarship in tennis!!
HIGH SCHOOL
As a Freshman I lead the varsity team, at El Diamante, to the CIF semifinals of central california. In individual singles CIF I placed 3rd, being a five seed. I look forward to my sophmore year at EDHS tennis.
My Sophmore year at El Diamante was even more successful then my first year!! I lead my team to be CIF Champions for central california. Also, placed 2nd in the Individuals CIF tournament losing in three sets to five star recruit jeremy Quiroz of Bakersfield. Completed a record of 30-2 in singles, losses coming from Quiroz and Sky Lovill as he is going to UC Berkely. I was named All-county player by the Visalia times delta, and central valley of california player of the year by the Fresno Bee newspaper.
My Junior year at El Diamante was very similar to my sophmore year; however, I feel like my game improved in great stride! Once again I was named All-County player by the Visalia Times Delta, and Player of the Year by the Fresno Bee. Also, I led my team to a another CIF Central Section title! I completed a 30-1 record, my lone loss coming in the Individual Central Section title to five star recruit Jeremy Quiroz of Bakersfield. My goal for next year is too acomplish all that I have already, but win the Individual title!!
