Why Coaches Attend the USTA All-American College Combine

LAKE NONA, Fla. - Players from all levels and college coaches from every division were represented last week at the 2nd annual USTA All-American College Combine.
More than 60 coaches - a 40 percent increase from last year - attended the event at the USTA National Campus to watch 125 players take part in fitness testing and match play.
The coaches had a chance to scout recruits, attend professional development classes and learn from some of the USTA staff.
How valuable is the Combine and what do coaches enjoy most? Several coaches answered those questions for this month’s Coaching Roundtable.
