SPOTLIGHT ON Madeline Monroy (Litchfield Park, Arizona)
Music on your playlist: There is typically only two songs that I listen to, and they are Lose Yourself by Eminem and Hall of Fame by The Script.
Dream vacation destination: The Bahamas
Favorite food: Pizza
Favorite athlete: Nick Kyrgios
Future occupation: I would love to be an attorney, but I am really not sure the exact one yet. I am still trying to really look into it. I am a very assertive person and I would know the difference between right and wrong, so I feel like that would fit my personality the best.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Kyrgios, just because I saw him in person once and ever since I have admired him. I would love to ask him a few questions about what got him into tennis and why he still enjoys it and what he does to enjoy it. I love his style of play. His attitude is a little … you never know with that kid. But he always plays really relaxed and doesn’t look as tense as the other pros look.
Must-watch TV show: Grey’s Anatomy
Favorite movie: Grown Ups
If I am not playing tennis, I am … hanging out with my family. I am very big on family and I love to spend time with them.

SPOTLIGHT ON Ryan Day (Largo, Florida)
Music on your playlist: I like to listen to rap like Playboi Carti and Naz. I also listen to some old rock when I am chilling like Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Dream vacation destination: Definitely the Swiss Alps. Maybe I can chill with Roger (Federer) while I am there.
Favorite food: Pasta
Favorite athlete: Novak Djokovic
Future occupation: I want to be an entrepreneur and own different businesses. Both my parents are lawyers, but they are corporate attorneys so I have always been around the business environment and I have always been really into it. I love finance and private equity and international affairs.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Serena Williams. I love her story and how she came from nothing and made so much of herself. I think it would be so inspiring to get a first-hand description of how she did it. She inspires me a lot already, so to hear it directly from her would be really cool.
Must-watch TV show: Person of Interest
Favorite movie: Black Hawk Down
If I am not playing tennis, I am … hanging out with friends or at the beach.
