As a rising Texas junior player, he watched countless Aggie tennis matches at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center. Sitting in the stands of the 3,000-seat facility, soaking up the electric atmosphere of the raucous home crowds, Klores imagined the thrill of walking onto the College Station courts wearing maroon-and-white.
Last year, the five-star recruit gave fleeting thought to leaving the Lone Star state to play college tennis. He pondered a visit to Purdue. He actually did check out Baylor University, only a little more than hour away from his home.
But all those Aggie matches had burned a deep impression in the teenager's brain, and so last fall Klores signed a national letter of intent to play for A&M next August.
