With Fall Signing Week wrapping up, Tennis Recruiting returns to a regular feature celebrating other junior tennis players who are heating up the courts. We caught up with some of these players in this month's Prince Hot 100 Lists.

The Prince Hot 100 lists are published each month, and the November Hot 100 lists feature the one hundred boys and girls who most improved their rankings during the month of October. You can find out more about the Prince Hot 100 - and how the lists are calculated - by reading here.

The latest lists, published earlier today, are available here:

Daniel deLeon (Redding, Calif.)

Three-star junior Daniel deLeon has been working on improving his mental game. He trains with coach Jake Hobaugh of the JMG Tennis Academy.

"Right now I am working on my thought process with my coach," deLeon said. "I tend to over-analyze everything on the court, so we've been working on 'not thinking.' I play much better when I quit thinking about what's going on and quit worrying about what the result will be."

deLeon credits this training with his coach for his recent success. "I credit my good play to my coach for his hard work in coaching me and for his ability find a way to explain things in a way that I understand," he said.

This improvement has pulled deLeon out of a rut into the winning streak he has enjoyed lately.

"It has been mentally and physically hard for me as a student, but it has started to pay off," he said. "Everything just kind of clicked. It is refreshing to actually have some wins because I've been in a slump for so long."

deLeon describes his game as well-rounded, with his greatest strength being his fitness. "I can play defense, neutral and offense very well," he said. "I can say without doubt that I am more physically fit, stronger and faster than a vast majority of my opponents. This is what distinguishes me from other tennis players."

The six-foot player used these skills to his advantage last month. He competed in two tournaments in October, reaching the finals of a USTA Closed Regional in Las Vegas and taking third place at the Norcal Junior Excellence. deLeon leapt over 60 spots up on the Class Rankings.

deLeon's strong play has him thinking about his future in college. Academics are an important factor to deLeon, and a wide variety of athletics are high on the list as well.

"I am looking for a school with a strong sports and academic program," he said. "I would love to go to a school where I could be a spectator of sports, especially football, basketball and soccer. I am really looking forward to the team aspect of college tennis."
