USTA Southern is offering a newly-created grant for HBCUs in the Southern section.
HBCU programs can apply to serve as mentors within their communities by creating a partnership with a local National Junior & Tennis Learning (NJTL) chapter. The HBCU teams must also host a kick-off tennis event on their campus in January 2023.
USTA Southern will provide $500 in funding for things like equipment, uniforms and court costs.
Any HBCU programs in the Southern section wishing to apply, can access the application at: 2022 HBCU Tennis Program Grant (jotform.com) by November 11, 2022.
