School bells are ringing across the nation. Students are readying school supplies and clothes, and are ready (for the most part!) to tackle their studies in the classroom.
Another group of students – the Class of 2029 – has already traveled around the country and competed in some of the most prestigious tennis tournaments in the world. They are leaving the fifth grade and entering sixth grade.
So, let’s take a look at four of the rising sixth graders, who could become the future stars of American tennis:
Griffin Goode (Raleigh, North Carolina) is ranked No. 1 in the Tennis Recruiting Network. He has attended Brassfield Elementary School during his first five years of school, and will now enter the Quest Academy Charter School in Raleigh. Goode will have the opportunity to further hone his tennis skills because of a shortened day in the classroom.
