Recruiting Insider: Arkansas Head Coach Courtney Steinbock
Share:

Knowing how college coaches recruit and what they are looking for can make the process less intimidating for prospects.

Our “Recruiting Insider” series features coaches from across the nation sharing their methods of how they identify, scout and communicate with potential recruits.

Today, we hear from University of Arkansas women’s head coach Courtney Steinbock:

What are your primary methods of recruiting?

We use a variety of methods in recruiting since there are so many players out there. You have to rely on a multitude of resources such as networking, contacts, websites, other coaches, former players, recruiting out at tournaments, etc. Everything has been a bit different since Covid-19. Covid forced all recruiting activities to halt until the end of April so we can only see them via online now. We can no longer have on campus visits so it makes technology and Zoom a great resource to try and make it as personal as you can during the process.
