Player Advice
How to Prepare for the Transition to College Tennis
Share:

Summer is here and many players will be making the transition from their junior tennis careers to starting anew in college tennis. To help with the transition, I asked a number of players to reflect on their college careers and what advice and forethought they believed would be beneficial for junior players making the transition to college.

Anna Campana, Pepperdine

“I would say the most important aspect of transitioning from juniors to college is staying organized. You want to make sure you are organized so that you can get the most out of your entire college experience. We are student-athletes after all and deserve to enjoy the academic and social life of college just as much as tennis. But that’s only possible by keeping an organized schedule and knowing what you want to get out of your experience. I think that this will allow you to enjoy the special moments more whether it’s on or off the court.”
