Joshua Lamm-Bocharov (WTN: 13.7) met Georgetown University assistant coach Diana Kussainova during the college exposure seminar at USTA National Clay Courts.
Lamm-Bocharov always considered Georgetown as an option for college because of its proximity to his hometown in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the school’s credentials.

The five-star junior reached out to head coach Freddy Mesmer once he returned home from clay courts and Mesmer eventually invited him on a visit. Lamm-Bocharov committed to the Hoyas shortly after.
“I felt Georgetown was the perfect place for me because of the great academics as well as the great team,” he said. “I really loved everything I saw on my visit and got along very well with the guys on the team.”
