Blue Chip Rivera's Recovery Leads to Stanford
Share:

Injuries aren’t ideal no matter when they occur. But for Hudson Rivera, it couldn’t have come at a worse time.

Rivera fractured his elbow and missed nearly all of 2021. It coincided with the time when college coaches were trying to evaluate him the most.

Blue Chip Senior Hudson Rivera Has Committed to Stanford

“It was not very fun and I kind of didn’t play well once I got back in the beginning,” Rivera said. “That is when all the recruiting calls were happening. That was tough. There was really nothing I could do but keep playing.”

The blue chip senior from Rancho Santa Fe, California eventually began getting better results as he got stronger. By early this summer, more college coaches were expressing their interest.

Rivera narrowed his final three choices to Stanford, USC and Harvard. He committed to play for Stanford.
