Like most high-level junior players, Christine Jevicky had a goal of playing for a Division I program in college.
But after she started the recruiting process, the four-star senior from Littleton, Colorado realized how many more options she could explore.

“There are so many good Division II teams,” Jevicky said. “Once I started learning about them, I didn’t think there was as much need to go Division I. I just wanted to be able to go to a good school with the academics I wanted to study and a good team. That is all I was focusing on.”
Jevicky found what she was looking for at Angelo State. She signed with the Belles last week.
Jevicky’s visit to the campus in San Angelo, Texas sealed her decision. She was impressed with how kind head coach Chris Bizot and the players were to Jevicky and her mother.
“I had this sense of connection. Everyone in the town treated one another like family, which is a very important thing for me,” Jevicky said. “I had never really experienced this before other than with my own family since I lived in Colorado my whole life. I felt like this would be a new family for me at Angelo State.”
